The ruby grapefruit is often referred to as the crown jewel of citrus. Its beautiful pinkish-red flesh cooks down into a deep orange with a reddish tinge like a summer evening sunset. Originating in Barbados, the Ruby Grapefruit was a cross between sweet orange and pomelo seeds from Asia.
Its juicy, sweet and tangy flavour creates the perfect traditional marmalade - firmer set with the optimal balance between tangy and sweet, and packed with lots of thin cut peel. Delicious and perfect for all marmalade lovers.

Received 3 Jars of the Ruby Grapefruit Marmalade and promptly put one in the fridge overnight! Following morning, buttered some toasted sourdough bread and spooned on the marmalade! First bite…WOW… what a lovely tangy taste hits the taste buds. Absolutely delicious! So toasted more bread again, and had some more! Finished with breakfast to find that there was only 1/3 of the jar left! Just as well I have two more jars! Am I going to share the Grapefruit Marmalade with anyone….NO… it’s mine! 🤣 Going to buy some more though……There is a Pink Gin recipe that uses Ruby Grapefruit Marmalade to try………….
