About Single Variety Co

At Single Variety Co, we are passionate about creating a truly premium range of award-winning chilli jams and fruit preserves, making everything ourselves in our family run jam factory in Bristol. We use just one variety in each of our products - showcasing the unique flavour, colour and aroma of that single variety. Hence the name!

Ingredients

Sugar, Seville Oranges, Water, Lemon Juice, Natural Pectin. Prepared with 42g fruit per 100g, total sugars 52g per 100g.

Storage & Shelf Life

Our jams are made with a two year shelf life*. Once opened keep refrigerated and enjoy within 4 weeks.

How To Enjoy

Perfect served with croissants, used to make sticky marmalade cake or glazed onto a ham joint.

Marmalade On Toast

Deliciously tart

An advert for your preserves came up on my Facebook feed for rhubarb jam. I love rhubarb, but am not keen on ginger, so the fact your rhubarb jam didn’t include ginger caught my eye. I bought one jar of orange marmalade, one jar of raspberry conserve and one jar of rhubarb jam. So far I have only tried the marmalade, but what a treat. Without a doubt the nicest marmalade I have ever tasted. The perfect combination of bitter, tart and sweet - absolutely scrumptious. I can’t wait to try the other jars. Pricey, but worth every penny. Yum!

The Single Variety Co Promise

Nicola founded Single Variety Co from her kitchen table with the aim of creating a range of seriously delicious fruit preserves and chilli jams. She carefully selected the finest ingredients, British where possible, and packed each jar full of as much fruit as possible with much less sugar than traditional jams. These aims remain the same today in our little jam factory in Bristol - as if Nicola had made them from home!
