About Single Variety Co

At Single Variety Co, we are passionate about creating a truly premium range of award-winning chilli jams and fruit preserves, making everything ourselves in our family run jam factory in Bristol. We use just one variety in each of our products - showcasing the unique flavour, colour and aroma of that single variety. Hence the name!

Ingredients

Sugar, Seville Oranges, Water, Lemon Juice, Natural Pectin. Prepared with 42g fruit per 100g, total sugars 52g per 100g.

Storage & Shelf Life

Our jams are made with a two year shelf life. Once opened keep refrigerated and enjoy within 4 weeks.

How To Enjoy

Perfect served with croissants, used to make sticky marmalade cake or glazed onto a ham joint.

Best tasting marmalade I’ve ever tried.Perfect consistency and fabulous flavour, well deserving of its award wins.The proof of the passion and pride put into the making of this marvellous marmalade is in its terrific taste.

Disappointed

I have bought both lime marmalade and blood orange marmalade. Whilst the lime marmalade was very nice, I am so disappointed with the blood orange marmalade which was very runny, not set at all and tasted as if it hadn’t reached setting point in the pan. I am very disappointed that such an expensive marmalade is such a disappointment.

Delicious but quite runny

Would have liked it to be a bit more set, personal preference. Otherwise great flavour!

The Single Variety Co Promise

Nicola founded Single Variety Co from her kitchen table with the aim of creating a range of seriously delicious fruit preserves and chilli jams. She carefully selected the finest ingredients, British where possible, and packed each jar full of as much fruit as possible with much less sugar than traditional jams. These aims remain the same today in our little jam factory in Bristol - as if Nicola had made them from home!
