Our Marmalades - The Inside Scoop:
Our marmalades are hand-made in small batches at our jam factory in Bristol. We source the tastiest varieties for each flavour and then ensure each jar is jam packed full with them. From traditional Seville Marmalade, to modern Ruby Grapefruit, this selection will be a treat for any marmalade lover.

These foil embossed gift boxes are absolutely beautiful. Each gift box is printed with a soft touch finish, with a gloss marmalade pattern to add a touch of interest. The look and feel makes them a perfect gift.

Storage & Shelf Life

Our jams are made with a two year shelf life*. Once opened keep refrigerated and enjoy within 4 weeks.

Very nice presentation pack

Given as a present to son-in-law. He’s delighted with the gift pack and told me his favourite is the amalfi lemon. I thought the chance to try the variety pack was great and he loves marmalade.

BEST EVER

The marmalade is above and beyond wonderful. Full of flavour. Texture is perfect. My favourite so far blood orange but I must admit that I love everything I have purchased from single variety. If quality is what you want then look no further. You will not be disappointed.

Tasting results

Very impressed with the substantial packaging my gift pack of four marmalades was delivered in. Consequently the jars arrived in perfect condition.
Decided to have a tasting session and tried them all together to compare. Found the Amalfi lemon and Seville orange very tasty and delicious and will definitely be ordering those again. The ruby grapefruit was slightly less to my liking.
However, when it came to the blood orange marmalade, I was not impressed, it was not set and was pure liquid. Consequently, when the jar was opened, a quantity spilled out onto the table. Don’t think that one will be on my shopping list again.

Arrived a week after ordering. Was highly impressed with the quality of packaging that the four jars of marmalade came in, very sturdy and designed to ensure that the contents were in perfect condition. All there is to do now is to taste the product!

I bought this set for our elderly parent who love marmalade. They’ve thoroughly enjoyed this set as enjoyed the variety it offers. Definitely buying this again! Might keep an extra set for ourselves too!

Nicola founded Single Variety Co from her kitchen table with the aim of creating a range of seriously delicious fruit preserves and chilli jams. She carefully selected the finest ingredients, British where possible, and packed each jar full of as much fruit as possible with much less sugar than traditional jams. These aims remain the same today in our little jam factory in Bristol - as if Nicola had made them from home!
