Our Harbinger Rhubarb Preserve is made with fresh Yorkshire Rhubarb. One of our favourite preserves, we source all our rhubarb from the Tomlinson Family, who have been growing forced rhubarb continuously for four generations in Pudsey, West Yorkshire.

Harvested in the dark and by candlelight according to age-long tradition, their rhubarb has tender, almost fibre-less stalks that are bright pink in colour and have the most delicate flavour. We choose to use the Harbinger variety because it is super pink! We chop it, then cook it with a little bit of sugar for as short a time as possible, creating the most delicately delicious rhubarb preserve.

Because we use less sugar it has a lovely dropping consistency. It's seriously spoonably scrumptious, perfect for over yoghurt & granola, or on ice cream!

Each jar contains 225g. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

This product has a best before date from production of 6 months as the colour fades quickly. It will still taste delicious but won't be as pink!

Storage & Shelf Life

Our jams are made with a two year shelf life*. Once opened keep refrigerated and enjoy within 4 weeks.

Lovely rhubarb flavour

I really like the rhubarb flavour, however far too sweet for me. I was expecting a more tart rhubarb taste but sadly far too much Sugar added. It would be great if you made a less sweet version. I appreciate sugar is needed to be added but maybe half the amount. It really is sickly sweet which is a shame.

Amazing

I make my own jam but never dared make rhubarb and can guarantee I won't try now because this is amazing and I don't think anything will ever taste as good, the only issue I had was I didn't order enough before it went out of season.

Fabulous taste

Bought this Preserve as never been successful with my own rhubarb. This is gorgeous - and it included a Rhubarb and custard blondie recipe which I highly recommend. Enjoyed by all who tried it. I prefer it on porridge or with Greek yoghurt. Needless to say the 6 jars won’t last long and hubby already suggesting getting more to last out till next spring!

Quick delivery - delicious product.

Great taste and less sugar. Slightly runny so great on yoghurt. Good on toast. Sweet but also sour, good taste and colour. Great product.

Mothers Day Gift

I bought this as part of a selection of Single Variety jams/preserves to be delivered for my Mam for Mother's Day (I live 350 miles away from her). Three days after delivery, my brother sent me a photo of the jar with about an inch of it left 😳 so I'm assuming she enjoyed it 👍.

I LOVE RHUBARB and I love YOUR RHUBARB jam even more . I’ve eaten it on toast, my cereal and in Greek yoghurt … so far ! Will buy more as it’s so yummy
